Fiskens entrusted Pursuit with refreshing their Dallara SP1 for the 2025 season

Pursuit took on the Dallara SP1 Judd V10 #006 in November 2024, ready to be refreshed for the 2025 season ahead, with plans for a meticulous service and rebuild, and – most notably - a restoration of the iconic Play Station team livery.

June 25, 2025

Originally debuted as part of the Playstation Team Oreca at the 2002 24 Hours of Le Mans, the car has been under the Fiskens umbrella since 2022 after many years of ownership by one of its in-period drivers: Martin Short, who put it back into service at Goodwood members’ Meeting 2019 and the Le Mans support race in 2021.

In period, this car sought to dethrone the dominant Audi R8s from their position at the top of the endurance racing pyramid and put forth a valiant effort, with podiums at Spa, Monza and Silverstone in 2005, as well as 2nd overall at the 2002 Le Mans test and 6th overall at 2002 Le Mans 24hrs.

In preparation for its return to Le Mans for Peter Auto’s Le Mans Classic in early July 2025, Pursuit undertook to strip the car, inspect and service every component – including cataloguing the extensive spares package. The team rebuilt the gearbox, had crack testing completed, and designed new brake disc bells specifically for the Dallara, which were fabricated and fitted, alongside many other components. The iconic Playstation Team Oreca livery from the height of the car’s success in-period was precisely recreated to bring chassis 006 back to its original glory.

We can’t wait to see what this iconic car can achieve at Le Mans this year with the support of the Pursuit team. Keep an eye out for updates from the upcoming appearance at Le Mans, and check out even more via our awesome clients, Fiskens.
