Full Circle at Goodwood: A Podium, a Familiar Face, and 3 Iconic Cars

Goodwood always delivers something special—but this year’s Members’ Meeting meant even more for Pursuit Racing. A podium finish and a familiar face made it a weekend to remember.

There are race meetings, and then there’s Goodwood.

This year’s Members’ Meeting was another reminder of why the event holds such a special place in historic motorsport. For us at Pursuit Racing, it’s not just about turning up—it’s about being part of something that celebrates the very best of racing heritage. To run three cars on a stage like this felt like a privilege from the outset.

We brought a trio that perfectly captured the spirit of the event: Camaro, E-Type, and Elva. Each car has its own story, its own character—and at Goodwood, they all get their moment.

The headline result came with the Camaro, which powered its way to a podium finish. Behind the wheel were Jenson Button and Andrew Smith, a pairing that delivered both pace and precision when it mattered most.

For us, having Jenson back with Pursuit Racing made the weekend even more meaningful. We were lucky enough to work with him – behind the wheel of DK Engineering’s Cobra - right at the beginning. To now come full circle, with him driving another car with us at the same iconic circuit, is something that genuinely resonates. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come—and of the relationships that make this sport so special.

Goodwood is more than just a circuit. It’s a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and competition at its purest. To run cars that are not only eligible, but truly worthy of this prestigious event, is something we take immense pride in.

Weekends like this are why we do what we do. Lock in for the rest of the season on our gallery and socials to keep up with all action…
