Pursuit's proven track record when it comes to Cobras

Since Pursuit launched in 2021, we’ve had the privilege of building and running some of the finest original Cobras in historic racing.

November 19, 2025

Since our inception in 2021, Pursuit has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of prestigious performance vehicles: from road conversions to complete rebuilds and everything in between, working on GT, LMP, and historic vehicles from across the last hundred years.

It all began with the team’s first full recommission: chassis #2035 Shelby AC 260 Cobra, which came to us in need of a full restoration and race preparation treatment, with the express goal of reaching the front of the grid at Goodwood. The recommission was completed in late 2022 and the dream of winning at Goodwood was achieved at the 2023 Members’ Meeting, marking the first win for a ground-up Pursuit build.

Since the success of the first Cobra rebuild, the team has been lucky enough to work on four further Cobra projects of varying complexity. These cars have gone on to achieve a Peter Auto Sixties Championship win, a one-two finish at Peter Auto’s Estoril Classics, and two of them took part in 2025’s Modena Cento Ore Tour, not to mention a handful more podiums and hundreds of unforgettable laps at some of the world’s most prestigious circuits.

Historics are in our blood! With the resurgence of many late 90s and early 00s GT and LMP cars taking centre stage with many series, and though we are excited by the change in the industry and the opportunity to work on even more impressive cars, our team will always love bringing the classics back to the track. Cobras are a huge part of the historic racing scene for a reason, so stay tuned for our next Cobra build.
